Dental Power is working to assist the Virginia Department of Corrections in addressing dental staffing needs across multiple facilities throughout Virginia. We are seeking qualified Dentists to provide comprehensive dental care services to incarcerated individuals. Assignments would be offered on an as-needed basis, with opportunities for approximately 40 hours per week at each location, except Marion which has a need for a Dentist 8 hours per week.

Deerfield Correctional Complex - Capron, VA

Deerfield Men's Work Center 1 - Capron, VA

Green Rock Correctional Center - Capron, VA

Keen Mountain Correctional Center - Oakwood, VA

Lunenburg Correctional Center - Victoria, VA

Marion Correctional Center - Marion, VA (need for 8 hours per week)

River North Correctional Center - Independence, VA

State Farm Correctional Center - State Farm, VA 

Virginia Correctional Center for Women - Goochland, VA  

Wallens Ridge Correctional Center - Big Stone Gap, VA

Dental Power offers locum tenens, contract and associate positions, on either a part-time or full-time basis.

The scope of work and compensation are determined by the specific requirements of each position, as well as the candidate’s experience and comfort with specific procedures.
