Job Description:
We have a locum tenens position for a General Dentist to work with a Community Health Center. The need is immediate and can transition to a direct hire, working Mondays thru Thursdays with a half day on Fridays. Scope of work is exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. The patient base is mentally disabled (non-combative and only simple procedures), kids, adults, and inmates (seen in a mobile unit with guard present at all times and low security level, exams and extractions). There is an EFDA and 2 DA's available. At least 3 years of experience preferred. Travel and lodging offered for out of area providers. LA Medicaid Number or willing to be credentialed, CDS, and DEA required. There are three locations to cover and make a 40 hour work week if desired. Permanent hire potential!
