We have a locum tenens position for a General Dentist to work with a Community Health Center. The need is immediate and can last for up to a year, working Mondays thru Thursdays with a half day on Fridays. Scope of work is exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. The patient base is mentally disabled (non-combative and only simple procedures), , kids, adults, and inmates (seen in a mobile unit with guard present at all times and low security level, exams and extractions). There is an EFDA and 2 DA's available. At least 3 years of experience preferred. Travel and lodging offered for out of area providers. LA Medicaid Number or willing to be credentialed, CDS, and DEA required.
