Job Description:
We have an ongoing contract to provide a locum tenens Dental Assistant at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital, a maximum-security forensic psychiatric hospital, for up to 16 hours per week, as needed. An orientation will be provided before the beginning of the assignment to help ensure a smooth start.
The Dental Assistant will support the Dentist in providing general dentistry services to patients at the facility, including assisting with preventive, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities will also include taking dental X-rays and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
