Front Office-Reception

Job Description:

We have a wonderful, well-established orthodontic practice seeking a Front Office Receptionist, offering competitive pay and excellent benefits! As the Front Office Coordinator, you will help deliver outstanding patient experiences by serving as the welcoming face of our practice while ensuring smooth and efficient front office operations.

Job Overview:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour
• Benefits: Monthly bonuses, Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Long-Term Disability, 401(k)/Retirement Plan
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Location: Must be able to travel between their Mitchellville and Silver Spring offices.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer phones, respond to text messages and emails, and provide excellent customer service
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily patient schedule
• Collect payments and assist patients with account questions
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and office information
• Support the front office team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a front office, dental, medical, or similar customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Team-oriented, flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
• Proficiency with scheduling software, phone systems, and general office technology
• Ability to travel between both office locations (Mitchellville and Silver Spring)
