Job Description:

We have a wonderful, well-established Orthodontic practice seeking a Full-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant, offering excellent pay, monthly bonuses, and great benefits! This thriving practice has locations in Silver Spring and Mitchellville, Maryland, and is looking to hire immediately.

As the Dental Assistant, you will support the orthodontist in delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, placing and removing orthodontic appliances and arch wires, taking scans, and maintaining accurate patient records. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between both office locations, as the team works in each office two days per week.

Job Overview:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Pay: Starting at $25 per hour, may be negotiable based on experience

• Locations: Silver Spring and Mitchellville, MD
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
  Candidate will work 2 days per week in Silver Spring and 2 days per week in Mitchellville
• Lunch: 1-hour lunch break

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience

• Active Maryland Radiology Technology License required

• Experience placing and removing orthodontic appliances and arch wires

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment
