General Dentist – Contract Opportunity

Up to 40 Hours per Week | Flexible Scheduling

We are excited to partner with the Indian Health Service to recruit a General Dentist for the White Earth Health Center. This clinic serves a vibrant community and provides an opportunity for a dentist who enjoys meaningful, community-focused care.

This position offers flexible scheduling and may be filled by one full-time dentist working 40 hours per week or up to three dentists working part-time to cover the weekly schedule.

Practice Locations

The primary practice site is:

• White Earth Health Center

The selected provider(s) will also provide care at two nearby satellite clinics:

• Pine Point – approximately 15 miles from Ogema

• Naytahwaush – approximately 35 miles from Ogema

Travel between locations is part of the weekly schedule and offers the chance to serve patients across the broader community.

What You’ll Do

The dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients of all ages in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Providers will work alongside dental assistants, hygienists, and medical staff to ensure patients receive high-quality oral healthcare.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting dental exams and diagnosing oral health conditions

• Performing preventive and restorative dental procedures

• Developing and implementing patient treatment plans

• Providing patient education on oral health and hygiene

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Traveling between the primary clinic and satellite sites as scheduled

Schedule

• Up to 40 hours per week

• Flexible coverage model:

  • One full-time dentist, or

  • Multiple part-time dentists sharing the schedule
