Job Description:
We have a great new opportunity for one or two dependable and compassionate Dental Assistants to work with the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services at Cheltenham Youth Juvenile Detention Center and Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center.
Clinic Locations & Hours:
Cheltenham Youth Detention Center: Mondays & Thursdays, 8:00–4:30 (16 hours per week)
Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center: Tuesdays & Fridays, 8:00–4:30 (16 hours per week)
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
2+ years of dental assisting experience
Current Maryland or DANB certification
EFDA/General Duties training
Radiation technology certification
CPR Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Key responsibilities will include scheduling/triage, chairside support, radiographs, documentation, patient hygiene instruction, sterilization, equipment care, and supply management.paid
