Pediatric Dentist Jobs in New Mexico

We have a full-time contract position for a Pediatric Dentist to work at the Albuquerque IHS Dental Clinic in Albuquerque, NM. The position will be 27 hours per week and the clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

The Pediatric Dentist will provide care to children and adolescents, including diagnostic exams, preventive services (fluoride, sealants, space maintenance), restorative treatment, emergency care, extractions, and pulpal therapy. Responsibilities also include patient and family education, collaborating with clinic staff, consulting with other specialists, and documenting all care in Dentrix, in accordance with clinic policies and professional standards. The Pediatric Dentist must hold a current U.S. dental license, BLS certification, have completed a pediatric residency, and provide three professional references. Sensitivity to cross-cultural differences and the willingness to work with interpreters for non-English speaking patients is required.
