We are seeking a General Dentist to provide services at the Roanoke County-Salem Jail Facility in Salem, Virginia. The position will be for approximately 2-4 hours per week, currently scheduled on Tuesdays, and the providing dentist will be paid a flat rate per site visit. *Dentists may bring their own assistant, or one can be arranged at a deduction from the daily rate.*
The facility houses an average of 140 sentenced inmates and pre-trial detainees. Scope of work includes dental exams with diagnostic X-rays as needed, sedative fillings, extractions of non-restorable teeth, and gross debridement of symptomatic areas.
