Job Description:
Part-time opportunity for a General Dentist to provide dental care to patients in the care of the Boulder County Jail. This position is for 8 hours per week, working any one day per week, with Mondays preferred.
Responsibilities: Dentist will provide dental care and treatment to referred patients, including examinations, diagnosis, interpretation of radiographs, administration of anesthesia, sedative fillings, simple extractions, pulpectomies, and patient education. Follow standard precautions when providing dental care and treatment and serve as a consultant to the jail’s healthcare provider. Dentist will also develop protocols and procedures for the treatment of dental conditions and medications to be administered by Boulder County Jail medical staff.
