We are partnering with a friendly, community-focused dental practice seeking a Full-Time Dental Hygienist who enjoys building patient relationships and providing high-quality care.

Schedule (Consistent Full-Time Hours)
- Monday: 8AM – 6PM
- Tuesday: 8AM – 5PM
- Wednesday: 8AM – 6PM
- Thursday: 8AM – 5PM
- One Saturday per month: 8AM – 5PM

Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs
- Take and interpret dental X-rays while following proper radiation safety protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term dental health
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes in Dentrix
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with the dentist and team to deliver a comfortable, positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Experience using Dentrix for documentation and scheduling preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards
- Ability to accurately take vital signs and complete patient assessments
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
