We have a temporary position for a Hygienist to work with the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh. This position is available for up to 40 hours per week between Mondays thru Fridays, working from 7:00am until 3:30pm. Scope of work is routine scale and root plane, take x-rays, and exams. The required credentials are NC Dental Hygiene License, CPR, Driver's license or picture ID, and TB test results w/in a year. There is at least a year of hands on real world experience required for this job.
We have a part-time position available for a Dental Hygienist with the Kittrell Job Corps Center. The position is for 10.5 hours/week, preferably to be worked on Fridays.
The Job Corps program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a no-cost education and career technical training program that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. Duties to include: (1) Examine the students teeth and periodontal tissues, and chart findings; (2) Remove plaque, cleaning teeth, and apply topical preventative treatment; (3) Preventative dental health education for students to promote good oral hygiene techniques.
