Dental Hygienist Jobs in Missouri
We have a part-time Dental Hygienist position available with the Mingo Job Corps Center in Puxico, MO. The position is for 5 hours per week, to be worked any day Monday through Friday.
Duties to include: (1) Examine the students teeth and periodontal tissues, and chart findings; (2) Remove plaque, cleaning teeth, and apply topical preventative treatment; (3) Preventative dental health education for students to promote good oral hygiene techniques. The Job Corps program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a no-cost education and career technical training program that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.
We have several upcoming needs for experienced dental hygienists to work at practices throughout the Greater St. Louis area. Candidates must be licensed in Missouri, have at least one year of experience working in general dentistry and be expected to perform routine hygiene duties, to include the following: scaling and root planning, FMDs, probing, Arestin application and taking digital x-rays. Online charting is a plus, but not required. Please be prepared to provide your hygienist license and resume.
