We have a wonderful well-established practice seeking an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant (DA Level II) cross-trained in the front office. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, adaptable dental assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable stepping in as needed. 

This role begins as a temporary position with the intention of becoming permanent, providing both you and the office the opportunity to confirm a great long-term fit.

Job Overview:

• Hourly Rate: $27–$32/hour (negotiable based on experience)
• Benefits: Paid Parking, Sick Days, Vacation Days, Profit-Sharing Plan, Bonus Opportunities, Health Insurance
• Parking: Metro Accessible and Paid parking available ($12–$14/day - office willing to pay for parking as part of package)
• Software: Dentrix - Dexis
• Working Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:45AM-4:45PM and Friday from 8AM-2PM
• Lunch: 1 Hour Lunch Break Monday-Wednesday, No Lunch Break Friday

Responsibilities:

• Supporting daily clinical and administrative operations

• Infection control, taking X-rays, patient comfort, and maintaining hygiene standards
• Assist with Front Desk as needed including but not limited to: managing phone calls, scheduling patients, and ensuring a professional welcoming experience for patients as needed
   

Requirements:

• DA Level II license (required)

• Proficient in Dentrix (required)
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Cross-trained in both front and back office
• Experience with Dexis imaging preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and punctual
• Flexible availability with the ability to pick up shifts on short notice
