Job Description:
We have a part-time opportunity for a Certified Dental Assistant to support dental care for patients in the care of the Boulder County Jail. This position is for 8 hours per week, working any one day per week, with Mondays preferred.
Responsibilities: DA will assist the General Dentist in providing dental care and treatment to referred patients, including patient preparation, chairside assisting, radiographs, instrument sterilization, operatory preparation, and patient education. DA will maintain accurate dental records, follow standard precautions and infection control procedures, and ensure dental equipment and supplies are properly maintained. DA will also work collaboratively with the jail’s healthcare staff to support the delivery of safe, efficient dental care to patients.
