We have a part-time position available for a Dental Assistant to work with the Sacramento Job Corps Center. The position is for 9 hours per week, to be worked one day Tuesday through Friday. 

The Job Corps program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a national free education and training program that helps young people, ages 16-24, learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. The assistant will perform all legal duties, assist the dentist with all procedures, take x-rays, sterilization, some front desk duties, charting, set up and break down of operatory.

We have a part-time Dental Assisting position available with the San Jose Job Corps Center. This is a position for 8-hours per week, to be coordinated with the dentist.

We have a position available for a Dental Assistant to work at a West Los Angeles healthcare center, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a full-time position 40-hours per week, working Monday through Friday. Dental Assistant will provide services to the patients who are Veterans of the United States Military. The center is federally funded and operated. The Dental Assistant will perform chair-side assistant duties in all phases of dentistry including but not limited to, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Endodontics. Experience with sedation procedures and digital x-rays is necessary.

HOURS: 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm

PAID FEDERAL HOLIDAYS: 10 paid federal holidays per year

VACATION: 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service; 3 weeks after 5 years; 4 weeks after 15 years

SICK LEAVE: Accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours of work (up to 56 hours total per year)
