General Dentist, Contract Dentist

Job Description:

We have a contract position available for a General Dentist licensed in ANY STATE to work at a Federal Correctional Facility in Talladega. The work schedule will 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, excluding Federal Holidays. This position is available immediately and is set to last for one year.

The Dentist will be required to provide general dentistry services at the facility, which includes surgical extractions, molar endo, posts and core, pin retained amalgams, composites, gingival curettage, frenectomies, diagnostic evaluations, dental prosthesis, and preventative treatment for the inmate population including medically compromised patients. All necessary supplies, equipment and materials are provided by the institution.
